As the Labor Day holiday approaches, marking the unofficial end of summer, civil unrest continues to heat up across the country, as protestors call for an end to police brutality and racial inequality. In Minneapolis, MN, the governor and mayor are calling for healing in a city that caught the world's attention after the video-recorded death of George Floyd, who died in police custody in late May. NewsVision reporter Samantha Chaney captured several of the Minnesota protests.
